If the organization of the Bikers'Classics, the traditional high summer mass for classic motorcycles on the Spa-Francorchamps Circuit, will change pace in the future, with a return to the track every two years, the next edition will still be this year, more precisely on July 3, 4 and 5, 2020. On the side of DG Sport, organizer of the event, they are very busy, so much so that registrations for the different track sessions will be open as from Monday 13 January. Go to the official website www.bikersclassics.be, tab ‘Participants’ then ‘Registration’, to ensure your presence on the track aboard your favourite machine...
That's not all ! In order to generate even more enthusiasm, a new generation of motorcycles is now accepted during these Bikers'Classics 2020. "We have indeed decided to welcome motorcycles such as Ducati 748 and 996, Honda CBR900, Suzuki GSXR 750 and Yamaha YZF 750, explains Florian Jupsin on behalf of DG Sport. I can only invite the participants to consult the official list of eligible Superbikes for the Bikers’Classics 2020, which is sure to give some ideas to certain riders. Years go by and these machines, which are part of the heritage of motorcycle competitions, now have their place at an event such as this. "
The competition aspect of the Bikers'Classics 2020 will also evolve. In addition to the popular 4 Hours of Spa Classic, a round of the FIM Europe Endurance Classic Cup, the public will be able to fully enjoy the return of the Belgian Classic Grand Prix, ProClassic, as well as the IG Königsklasse, while the sidecars will compete for the first time in a race, through a round of the Camathias Cup!
An enticing program which will be completed by exhibitions, animations and parades, in addition of course to the Trial Classic, which is already one of the musts on our programme, and which we will talk about again shortly.
No doubt, the 2020 vintage of the Bikers’Classics is launched ... and this is only the beginning!
