It is what we call a real festival of old motorcycles ! On the weekend of Saturday 2 and Sunday 3 July, the Bikers'Classics - dear to DG Sport - will lead us back in time to the history of competitions on two wheels. It is of course above all a track event, with the various circuit sessions on the 7 kilometres of the Spa-Francorchamps track, but it is also about enduro with the Revival of the ‘2 Days of Stavelot’. And after the success of the first editions, The Trial Classics will obviously also be part of the program again.
« In the wake of the Classic Clubman Trial d'Aywaille, which was a great success, we are indeed doing the same thing al lover again with The Trial Classics, which is a part of our 'old motorcycle' event in early July, confirms Florian Jupsin, Bike Manager at DG Sport. During its previous editions, the event has been highly appreciated by Belgian trial riders, but also by countless international participants. Fred Mohring's teams will once again be at the helm to offer a trajectory of high quality on the Spa-Francorchamps site. With the speed machines on the circuit and the enduro and trial bikes all around the track, the public will certainly have something to do, and it will be a beautiful and complete fest ! »
Competitors in the Trial Classics will have the choice between the ‘Hiking’, ‘National’ or ‘Expert’ categories, while the bikes will be divided into three different classes, the Pre-65, the Pre-80 and the Bi-shocks.
By combining track, enduro and trial in the same weekend, in addition to exhibitions, dedication sessions in the presence of numerous champions - including the Australian Troy Bayliss -, the big parade and the concert on Saturday evening, the Bikers 'Classics have certainly found a good cruising speed. Proof that vintage is more fashionable than ever...
